Beyond Measure is holding it down with Broke, as well as doing too many other big things all over the nation (Audio Push: Teach Me How to Jerk). Boston is bout to be on the MIZZAPP!!! muahahahahahahaahahaha.

...And They're Off.

The last full week of August is around, and summer is getting ready to leave New England for a bit. As well as our comrades Ace, Simile, and J.C.

Simile is all un-packed and settled in his new little suite at Hamilton College, waiting for his awkward little pal Bieber. His ignorant ass left this (yesterday) morning. It was great having him around, sharing his music and jokes. Being all pussy like when the kids went to rocks in Malden, and he thought people were after him. Chilling in New York a DownBeat Keys gig, and getting lost on the same block...and those breezy summer nights where he'd tickled Ace's feet(??).

Not only was today Sim's departure, but also Ace's and J.C.'s last day in Boston. This week they will spend it all in Los Angeles, visiting some ol' friends and being chaotic. And YOU...and you, and you...will have it documented LIVE from this here blog.

Meanwhile our compadres, Flow, Solo, and Linkz will stay in Boston holding it DOWN.

FLOW is BACK!!

So, to whom did not know, this past week one of our beloveds were out chilling in another State. Flow decided to leave his friends and take a vacation out in Florida.

Just recently did he come back. So we hit em' up and all got together. Flow, Solo, Ace, and Linkz chilled through the night jumping around, cruising the street, and taking a snack time at dunkin donuts.

A Dunkin Donuts where the employees are completely zoned in some other fucked up universe. They're stuck near a highway exit and open for 24-hrs...The unhappiest place to visit. The crew walked in with concern for these people working so late. Until we realized how demented they actually were. It took Ace half an our to actually have his entire meal prepared. There were times where during one conversation you heard 7 different languages. Emotions were getting aggressive.

but in the end, they were fine. ace got his food and everyone came out satisfied. ready to go home and rest for tomorrow nights adventure.

DBK and ZULLO lead the night!

Following after the band ZULLO, DBK took the stage and got everyone jammin along.

The band all got together (with the exception of the guitar/sax player, Jared) and tuned it out here in Boston. While Baldwin, Root, and Ryan were testing and setting up to perform, Ill Will and ya boy Simile were working the mics, kicking some ridiculous head bobbing freestyles. Then opening with their track "The Stick Up". That set the rest of the night off and the audience was loving it all.

People were jumping to Zullo and DBK handling it on the stage. At the end several of them (including Ace, Solo, and Linz) got up and freestyled on the mic.

DBK will be playing in UPENN so stay up!

Simile: THINGS LEFT UNSAID

(Y)our boy Simile has just released his "Black Tuesday" follow-up called "Things Left Unsaid. An album that takes you through the mysterious mind of whom belongs to Simile. Also, his over-achieving ass is also in a New York band called DBK (DownBeat Keys), and they are performing TONIGHT (8-20-2009) for the first time in Boston. They will be opening for local band ZULLO.

Our Kids Grow Up So Fast.

So Ace decided that it would be a good idea to buy a fake ID. The idea was dumb from the start. Then he said it was so he can start networking with people. So everyone gave him some lenience, and said "you do you man."

And so he did. Now he is stuck with this piece of shit excuse for a Florida State ID that costs him $65.

Today's lesson, don't rush your future. Let it come by like its suppose to. If you don't, you'll end up in this same situation. Unless you know someone who can make some REALLY LEGIT looking ID's. Then its o.k. to do so. And if you do know anyone that does some REALLY LEGIT ID's, hit up Ace, so that he can get his dignity back.

the END (WEEK)

this is the end, of the week. although many plans changed and one of our best was in Florida (Flow, having the time of his life) this birthday week and weekend paid close attention to keeping the people that matter most close as a bridge into adulthood was crossed.

here's to the next 19 years. may we survive them.

well, August 10th and August 13th mark the births of two of the BADDEST SOB's you'll ever meet! LEO PRIDE UP IN THIS BITCH! this weekend and week, we're about to go OFF, so if you see Ace or Solo in the street, say waddup and Happy B-day! and if you catch us on Thursday, on our way to Club Orchird...?
